Household Expenses - Everyone has a great idea about how to cut them.  In fact I bet you probably have two or three great ideas.

For purposes of our discussions, please include Utility Costs, Household Operations, Household Supplies, and Household Furnishings and Equipment.

Here are some starter ideas.

Idea - How about adding vinegar to your cleaning supplies to make them go farther or just using vinegar and water for cleaning?

Idea - Windshield washer fluid can be purchased cheaply by the gallon.  It makes a great glass cleaner at a substantially lower price.

Idea - To remove black heel marks from floors, put on white soled tennis shoes and rub the black scuffs with the bottoms of the white tennis shoes.

As seniors, we have lived long enough to accumulate many ideas to cut home expenses.
